Zenprise is driven by an automation technology called ZenPro which automates IT Support knowledge, creating automated diagnostic tasks & resolutions to common mobile service issues.
How does it work? Traditional IT support documents (e.g., vendor knowledge base articles, internally created support documentation, knowledge from community forums) are translated into detailed step by step process workflows. Each step in the workflow represents a diagnostic task to perform. ZenPro automates each step in the workflow, creating automated diagnostic tasks to investigate mobile user & infrastructure issues.
Zenprise ships with thousands of workflows embedded directly in the product. All of this embedded knowledge is equivalent to having 100 of the smartest mobile experts in a box.
Benefits of Automation
Zenprise is therefore unique in that it goes far beyond basic monitoring through the use of automation. Most monitoring solutions simply report on symptoms such as Windows error events or error reported in the BES log. While this data is informational, symptoms alone don’t tell you the underlying problem in your environment. Furthermore, it is typical for standard monitoring solutions to flood administrators with hundreds of alerts on various detected conditions. Administrators have to correlate those symptoms into something meaningful, typically by searching through KB articles or support forums to understand the actual issue and find the proper resolution. With the complexity of the mobile service with numerous servers and possible issues, administrators can spend hours diagnosing problems.
